Why is the Army Important?

This technology makes it possible for warfighters and civilians to survive high-impact assaults. The importance of robotic systems in military operations is also increasing. These systems are available in both hardware and software applications.

Military personnel often work in communities, and these communities often function as societies within societies. They could be involved with education, medicine, or have their own economy. Out of these civilian roles the military can also play a role in public diplomaticy, which aims at improving U.S. relations overseas.

The United States Army ranks as the strongest military force on the planet. In the past five years, it has spent 500 billion dollars on developing branches. As such, the Department of Defense faces a new threat landscape. It is now facing increased terrorist attacks and the threat from advanced biological weapons.
